The disciples were thus putting a question before him and he was replying to them accordingly. But If you contend that '… IS NOT [THEREFORE] <i>MU'AD</i>&nbsp;…' is the correct text, [would it not appear as if his disciples] were giving instruction to him?<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' I.e., we have to read their remark as a statement and not as a question. ');">¹⁴</span>
